Two More Countries Will Join the Pilot Project

Starting from July 1st, 2005 two more countries will join the pilot project „Active Selection of Qualified Foreign Workers“ - Serbia and Montenegro, and Canada. Starting from January 1st, 2006 the project will be opened also to Ukraine.

One of the most important tools of the information campaign in target countries (Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Moldova) were info phone lines which provided detailed information on the project. Interesting statistics are a result of research done among info line users.
The MoLSA discussed employment of foreigners with representatives of Czech employers

The Deputy Minister Cestmir Sajda informed employers about the internet job search engine www.praceprocizince.cz which gives an opportunity to Czech employers to search for prospective employeess among qualified workers from third countries.

The MoLSA has accepted 241 applicants for the project out of the total amount of 253 applicants.
