Documents which have to be produced to certify the data stated in the on-line application form for the “Selection of Qualified Foreign Workers” project.

Mandatory documents:
  1. Valid travel documents confirming applicants’ identification data and their citizenship.
  2. A valid visa for over 90 days for the purpose of employment or a long-term residence permit issued for the same purpose.
  3. A valid work permit issued by the relevant local labour office in the CR (with the exception of work permit issued under s.89 of Act no. 435/2004 Sb., on employment).
  4. A valid, up-to-date employment contract or other written proof of existing legal employment within the territory of the Czech Republic signed by the employer and stating the precise date when employment started.
  5. Documents confirming the highest education achieved (secondary school certificate, university diploma etc.), translated into Czech (translation into Czech does not apply to foreign graduates of Czech secondary schools and universities).
  6. Documents evidencing previous employment (references, job records, confirmation issued by an employer stating precise duration of employment) translated into Czech. This concerns the criterion “Professional experience”, and to enter the project you must certify at least a six months’ working experience. It may be one six-month job or several jobs, the sum of which makes six months as minimum. This condition does not apply to foreign graduates of Czech universities or Czech secondary schools.
  7. Photo.
Optional documents – when submitted they improve the applicant’s scoring:
  1. Documents certifying your knowledge of the languages stated in the section “Language skills” (i.e. state exam certificate, language course certificate, document certifying that you have passed attestation exams in Czech etc.)
  2. Documents certifying your previous residence in the Czech Republic (working contracts, evidence sheets, confirmation issued by an employer stating precise duration of employment, Trade Licence).
  3. Documents of your spouse – the same documents as for the applicant are required if you intend to include your spouse into your scoring.
  4. Applicant’s children older then 18 years must provide a valid– student certificate .

All the submitted documents must be authentic and data stated in them must be up-to-date. If you present forged or untrue documents, you shall be excluded from the project forever. All the data must be, of course, easily legible. All the submitted documents must be (if not stated otherwise in the text below) in the form of a notarially certified copy with an attached official translation into the Czech language, in accordance with the legal provisions of the Czech Republic (a certified translation) or with the legal provisions of your country.

If you intend to include your family (spouse, minor children and major dependent children ) in your application for permanent residence in a shortened term of two and a half years, or 1 and a half year, you must submit documents certifying your family status.

We inform citizens of Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Honduras, India, Israel, Japan, South Afrika, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Mexiko, New Zealand, Panama, Salvador, Turkey and USA of the need to furnish documents with an apostil arising from the Hague Convention concerning the cancellation of the requirement for the verification of foreign public documents).

We also inform citizens of Brazili, Philippines, Guatemala, Chile, Indonesia, Kambodia, Canada, Costa Rica, Laos, Malaya, Barma, Nepal, Nikaragua, Paraguay, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Tadzikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan and Uruguay of the need to super-legalize the public dokuments.
